Representative Childrens' Choir “Slava Ruseva”Pazardjik, Bulgaria Ljudmila Karadjova - conductor Concert of Sacred Music
Ljudmila Karadjova is the director of the children’s choir “Slava Ruseva” which belongsto the symphony – musical – comedy union ‘Maestro Georgy Atanasov’ located in Pazardjik, Bulgaria. She has graduated from the Music Academy in Plovdiv and has finished a 1-year specialization in psychology at the University of Sofia, “Kliment Ohridski”. She has been director of the choir since 2005. Children’s choir “Slava Ruseva” possesses a 62-year old history of creative work. It performs works of foreign and Bulgarian composers of different epochs and styles: contemporary music, east – orthodoxy music and remakes of Bulgarian folk songs for choirs. The choir has numerous awards from choir competitions and festivals. Some of them are: 1990 in Arezzo, Italy – 4th place; 2000 in Desfina, Greece – first award for performance of orthodoxy music; 2007 in Gorna Orjahovitza, Bulgaria – the 6th international festival – the Award of the Bulgarian Union of Choirs. | ||||||||||||||||||||
