The choir’s hometown of Minsk is the capital of Belarus. The city is home to two million people and it is a modern metropolis with green parks and wide avenues. Its citizens are helpful and there are many young students who attend universities and colleges here. The city traces its history back 900 years and was almost completely destroyed during WWII, however, it was quickly restored and is now considered both an ancient and young city.
